International Cultural Programme Centre (ICP Centre)

International Cultural Programme Centre (Tarptautinių kultūros programų centras) is governmental organization and has been established by Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania in 2008. ICP Centre is continuing the activities of liquidated organizations „Cultural Contact Point Lithuania“ and „Media desk Lithuania“. The main functions of ICP Centre are to coordinate EU programmes „Culture“ (2007-2013), "Media" and „Europe for citizens“ (2007-2013).

The main aims of the ICP Centre:

• To provide information on the financing possibilities of different projects in the EU;
• To consult on the issues of the formation of the idea of a project and the preparation of applications; to organise information seminars and trainings;
• To act as an intermediary for organisations searching for partners for their projects in the European countries;
• To follow the main events taking place in the European Community and to inform the concerned Lithuanian institutions about such events.

The ICP Centre also implemented the participation of Lithuania in the initiative of the European Commission 2008, European Year of Intercultural Dialogue. The Centre was responsible for the preparation and implementation of the National Project.

The European Commission as well as the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania finance the activities of the Centre.
